Solar Radio Telescope is Operational!

I have been testing and callibrating the solar radio telescope for the past two weeks. Last night a blast of solar particles reached earth. These particles were ejected by the coronal hole. It took these particles about 60 hours to reach us.

You can see the sun set and man made interference drop off. Then there is a period of about an hour of wild fluxuation. Then things are very quiet for the rest of the evening as the line goes almost flat.

I will be posting more solar activity as I become more familiar with this very sensitive instrument.

The preliminary results and first confirmed capture are very exciting and promising!  This spike corresponds with NASA data and the Daedalus Solar Radio Telescope in Canada.
